Privacy

Short version: the calculators run entirely in your browser. The sizes, quantities and other values you type are never sent to us or to anyone else.

What happens to what you type

Every calculation, drawing and materials list is made on your device by the page's own code. There are no accounts, no forms that submit anywhere and no uploads. When you copy, download or print a list, that happens on your device too.

What is stored on your device

Two small preferences are saved in your browser's local storage, only so the site remembers them next time: your colour theme (light, dark or automatic) and your units (feet and inches or metres). They never leave your device, and clearing your browser's site data removes them. The site sets no cookies.

Analytics

The site is hosted on Cloudflare and uses Cloudflare Web Analytics, which counts page views without cookies and without tracking you across other sites. It never receives what you type into the calculators. We have no other analytics, advertising or tracking scripts.

Links to other sites

Pages link to sources (code bodies, manufacturers' data sheets), to sister sites and to two free services, CleanTempMail and WebTraceCheck. Those sites have their own privacy policies, which apply once you follow a link.
